NASA Exceptional Service Medal. Hallmarked G-27 (Graco Awards). All the medals have
small finish blemishes on the center NASA scroll. Photo # 3 is an example and each medal will be different.
Awarded for significant, sustained performance characterized by unusual initiative or creative ability that clearly demonstrates substantial improvements or contributions in engineering, aeronautics, spaceflight, administration, support, or space-related endeavors that contribute to NASA's mission. The criteria are as follows: Excellence and recognition of achievement that has set a benchmark for which others may strive. An innovative approach used in the conception, design, or execution of the Agency's projects, programs, initiatives, and activities. Impact and importance of the individual's service to NASA's missions and image.
NOTE TO COLLECTORS: As of June 30, 2010, manufacturers are prohibited from selling this medal, or any of its components, commercially. Once my stock is gone, I will not be able to get more!
