    The DD Form 217 is an Armed Forces Honorable Discharge 2 1/8 X 3 3/8 inch ID Card.
    Now you can carry your Honorable Discharge certificate in your wallet.

    The DD Form 217 is an identity card; it is a certificate of Service for the Armed Forces of the United States. It certifies that the named Veteran Honorably Served on Active duty, and names the Veteran's Branch of Service e.g., United States Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and all Reserves and National Guard personnel.
    The Military stopped issuing them in the mid 1950’s .
    HQ Medals are bringing them back to our Veterans. So now we have them for sale on eBay.
    This is not a Government issued ID Certificate.
    It is a replacement certificate printed on Laminated parchment card stock.
    It is not embossed.
