    Description

    A seldom offered design probably in 1940. Resembles few other designs. The
    compote stands 9 inches tall with a bowl that is 6 3/4 inches wide. The foot is
    about 4 1/4 inches wide. There are two tiny dings in the stem with no other
    faults. Very impressive design and size. Weighs 256 grams. A deeply pierced
    bowl with some interesting design lines made by Gorham with the Sterling
    hallmark and a model number, listed below ‘Sterling’. Some tarnish specks
