    Description

Here is a pair of Pro-Mark Doug Demorrow DD1R SOFT and WEIGHTED marimba mallets and rattan handles. I believe that Pro-Mark no longer manufactures these mallets. These mallets are great for bass marimba and also mid-range. The heavy weight brings out the rich fundamental and the yarn is generous which makes for very little contact sound making them the best low octave marimba mallets I ever used.
Very lightly used. Have my initials near the mallet head
The shafts are not perfectly straight, but not annoyingly bent; instructions can be found on the internet on how to straighten rattan handles/shafts.
Rattan is 5/16" in diameter and in excellent condition
DD1R mallets are soft, Thick wrapped mallets on Rattan shafts, ideal for the lower range on the instrument
    Length: 16 7/8" Head Size: 1.94 x 2.1"
    The large brass
    weighted cores
, mounted on comfortable rattan handles,
are wrapped in a wool-nylon blend for added durability and exceptional tone
Hand-matched rattan shafts for optimal comfort and durability
All Promark drumsticks are designed and manufactured in the USA
