PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS Prehistoric World 1 Oz Silver Coin 1$ Niue 2022
This incredible 1 Oz Silver coin is the fourth issue in the "Prehistoric World" series and is dedicated to the Pachycephalosaurus. The coin has a beautiful coloration, has a wonderful design and comes in a black leather case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 1.000 pcs worldwide! The reverse of the coin depicts a Pachycephalosaurus, famous for its extremely thick skull that formed a kind of protective helmet. The top of the skull was more than 25 centimetres thick. This unusual feature has led to the hypothesis that the dinosaur used its armoured head as a battering ram to defend itself from predators or at mating time, when two rivals held a knock-down contest. In the background, trees and other dinosaurs. The composition of the reverse side is supplemented with the inscription: "ANKYLOSAURUS" – the name of the coin. The obverse side of the coin presents a fossilized skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus. At the top of the reverse, the Coat of Arms of Niue; all around, the inscriptions: "1 DOLLAR" – the face value, "2022" - the year of issue, and "PREHISTORIC WORLD" – the name of the series.
