From PROFILES IN HISTORY Auction House: It all started in July 1955 with an 8-page supplement in the Los Angeles Times issued just prior to Disneyland's grand opening. As Linda leafed through the supplement that day, studying pictures of the various 'Lands' to be found in this new park, her father told her, "This will be greater than anything you've ever seen!" Her father's prediction couldn't have been more prophetic. Since then, Linda's love of all-things-Disney has lead her to collect thousands of times including toys, board games, pins clothing, posters, jewelry, pennants, postcards, plates, records, photos, tickets, and more, all relating to Disneyland. Ever the completist, she compiled a series of more than a dozen scrapbooks loaded with Park ephemera including information folders, candy and food wrappers, menus, matchbooks, bags and business cards from different shops, attraction brochures, and one of every guidebook ever issued. Disneyana experts agree that Linda's collection is the most comprehensive accumulation of Disney Park material they have ever seen.
