Beautiful Gorham Sterling Small Round Dish or Bowl
Entire Perimeter Has a Lovely Running Floral Design Etched/Chased Around Entire Perimeter so that the Design is on Both Top and Bottom Side.
Marked Gorham, Sterling and 1227 on Bottom.
Approximatetly 6 1/4" Diameter and 1 1/4" Deep
Weighs 87 grams/3.1 oz
Perhaps a Candy Dish.
I have searched several sites for the pattern name but have not yet been successful. Purchased from a high end Minneapolis Estate Sale many years ago - Probably During the 1980s.
Note the underside of the dish. The chase work is wonderful on both sides of the silver. Excellent workmanship.
Chase work is a lovely continuous scroll design with leaf vining and small flowers.  The underside is as pretty as the top side.
In very nice vintage condition with a few fine scratches to smooth center consistent with vintage patina. No dings, dents, or other imperfections detected.
