    Description

    Stunning hand made vintage traditional Korean rice chest - made in South Korea.  This piece is 35.5" tall x 36" wide x 25" deep and is in very good condition.  The chest's storage area (traditionally for storing rice) is accessible only from the top.  The interior is unlined.  The latch is wrought iron hardware.  Purchased in South Korea in the 1970's and told by the dealer that it was "old", hence I labeled as "vintage" instead of antique".  Construction joints appear old, dovetailing instead of nails or screws.
