Fun fact:
Paul Revere created a bowl in this shape that he named the Liberty bowl. There's a fascinating story behind it and why he named it that, if you're interested in googling it. A bowl made in his shop would be a Paul Revere bowl, of course. A bowl made in the same shape by anyone else or any other company would be called a reproduction, as the other companies were reproducing his shape. It is marked as a Paul Revere Reproduction (as they reproduced the shape Paul Revere designed) as International Sterling's nod to Paul Revere's creation and is clearly marked sterling on the base - International Sterling D261.
This shape bowl is is widely used to commemorate special events or achievements of individuals or organizations, such as this one won by my grandfather.

Won by my grandfather at the cRc Club in 1958. In 1958 this was called the Rockville Country Club in Rockville Centre, NY (Long Island). It's now known as the Rockville Links Club, Rockville Centre, NY (Long Island).
Please see my other listings for more of his sterling and silverplate golf prizes from Rockville Centre and Southampton, NY, Long Island.
All vintage estate pieces from my grandparents. All sold as is. Sterling has scratches and marks, especially if it's 60+ years old. My grandparents always had great style!
