    Description

    Listed is a group photo of a gathering of Black Men in Kokomo Indiana in May 1949.  Written in the lower right corner is: "6th Dist. Meeting, May 1949 Kokomo Ind."  This is likely a lodge, fraternity, or church meeting but I could not identify any group affiliation.  There seems to be a possible flag hanging in the upper middle window but I could not determine what it says (I included the best picture that I could manage).  There are no names or any other writing on the photo other than what is already listed.
    There is a crease/fold in the upper right corner, and a couple of nicks in the photo but overall, it is in good condition (it could use a cleaning).
