    Description

    Offered in this sale is an excellent sterling silver compote by Birks’
    of Canada. The foot is very slightly out of round on an otherwise
    as new example. The bowl is about 6 3/4 inches wide by about
    3 inches in height. The foot is about 3 1/2 inches wide. Very light
    and scattered scratches at most. We don’t believe the bowl was
    ever put to use. Weighs over 194 grams or 6.25 ounces troy. The
    hallmarks indicate Birks, Sterling and a model number with a tiny
    set of hallmarks with the Lion Passant, Anchor, etc.
