  • Condition: As is typical with many of the antique Chinese pieces, where applicable some of the hardware may have been replaced. There is general wear, and may be some shrinkage and age cracks that is typical for a piece this old, especially considering the climate difference. We feel these flaws add to the character of the piece and are preferable to replacement during restoration, Sometimes it is necessary to repair or replace certain components of the furniture, but that is typically done with antique wood. We try to be as clear as possible in the photos attached, however we are limited in the number of photos we can include, so it may not be possible to show every detail.     This small rustic antique Asian Kang cabinet has a plank top with a molded front edge.
    There is a small pair of flush doors that have painted designs on them.
    There are 2 flush front drawers on either side of the doors. The 2 lower drawers have been rebuilt.
    A  carved spandrel is on either side of the front that also form the front legs. A fancy carved apron runs between the front legs.
    Besides the beautiful carvings, the thing that really pops out on this piece is the bright use of colors, Mostly red, green and yellow/
