Antique 1893 Dominick Haff Victorian Sterling Silver Compote Tazza Pedestal Bowl
Presented is a incredible quality, solid sterling silver pedestal/raised bowl, compote or tazza made by Dominick & Haff in 1893. This late 19th century piece is in done in a Victorian style and has never been monogrammed. The shallow bowl is raised on a tall, pedestal form base. The rim and the base are decorated with separately cast and applied flower, leaf and shell designs.
The underside is marked for Dominick & Haff, sterling silver purity and has a year mark of 1893.
This piece is in excellent condition and it has been polished to a high finish. There have been some small dents removed along the inner rim where the base meets the rim, but this is only visible on the interior and only upon inspection.
