This wonderful 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to the first known portable calculating tool, often associated with the development of an ancient network of trade routes – the Abacus. The coin is inset with an abacus, has an Antique finish quality, has an incredible design and comes in a display framed case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 2.500 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin features depictions of travellers riding camels along the Silk Road. Items that were typically traded such as pottery, textiles, fruit, paper, fragrances and spices are represented in the foreground. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “QUEEN ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “TUVALU” – the issuing country, “2 DOLLARS” – the face value and “2019” – the issue year and “2 OZ 9999 Ag” – the weight of the coin and the purity of the Silver.
