19th Century Antique Lacquered Chinese Cabinet with Original Red/Orange Paint
The superb quality of this tall Chinese cabinet is largely due to the exceptional finish. In person, one sees the remarkable richness of the original red paint, accented with a burnt orange. The deep lacquered finish brings the entire piece to life, creating a desire to touch it. The overall effect is captivating, capturing a richness and depth rarely found in antiques today. The unique shape (tapered and slightly more narrow at top) and paneling on the cabinet doors creates the great visual impact of this armoire. Please view the close up detail to appreciate the true, original colors. The interior includes shelves, two drawers, and a hidden storage area underneath the bottom shelf.

We have shipped furniture nationally and internationally for 30 years
and are experienced at handling antiques properly. Most of our furniture weighs over the 150 lb. limit or maximum dimensions that UPS or USPS allows. Due to these limitations and the necessity to properly handle our pieces, we use a freight shipping company with over 50 years of experience. Freight shipping is the safest and most affordable means to deliver coast to coast. If the item is smaller, we use UPS unless another carrier is specified.

After payment is received, the shipment is scheduled. Freight shippers typically take 15 to 20 BUSINESS days to deliver
after
they pick up from our store (only 1 day a week). If you live on the East coast delivery will be closer to 20 business days.
